My biggest problem is that my feeders often drip sugar water! I paid quite a bit for them but the dripping wastes and it’s messy over my deck and patio

Just scored 6 more totes at thrift store for.99 each. I have 5 acres but growing in totes thanks to you and the damn bind weed taking over every where.. I have at least 150 totes and lots more pots planter boxes and 3 troughs. I just have to learn not to plant so intensively. Part of them are lined up under both sides of a cattle panel arch planted with a bunch of different cucumbers w/ bush beans, dill and nasturtiums. The rest have and had peas. spuds, beets, herbs beans, onions, bunching onions, walking onions, kale, collards, Holy Basil, purple basil, strawberries, some strawberries came up from poking yuck berries in and the seeds grew and that is from using the soil that was in my raised beds that I took out.Lots more stuff in them. Hopefully some year I will get a watering system in but for now dragging 100 foot hose and taking 1-2 hours to water them all. Herb garden planted in ground out front went wild and all the herbs and weeds reseeded themselves past couple years while I was busy taking out the wooden raised beds and digging all the strawberries out and planter boxing them back up on cinder blocks out back.

I've been using the same mixture for years except I boil my water because I have well water. I saw some videos were they said it was best to boil the water.

Excellent video. I will make one. We just watched two baby doves be brought into the world by their parents. It is a miracle. Now, the babies are out of their nest and the parents are watching over them on the ground. I imagine next is flying lessons. Beautiful babies. They look just like their parents.

Its just beautiful in your yard all the plants and wild life. I have lot of wild life too. No close neighbors, not a neighborhood......farm country on the wis boader.....i love seeing all the animals No bob cats or bears never saw those in my yard....lots of birds. Robbie, you made a remark about critter damage, squirrels mainly. If you protect your vegetables you have to leave enough so the don’t get desperate and eat everything. Can you suggest what to leave ? They or something ate a newly purchased gal milkweed down to main stems. Covered with tulle and it’s coming back Just starting your methods and don’t have all the established growth you do. Tulle is discouraging and has deterred a lot. But what do I leave ? Aren’t I inviting them to dinner every night to see what’s on my table? Suggestions please. Thanks, MaryAnne in Ramona

I love my trellis/ tunnel. After growing pole beans and how much easier it was to harvest, I will never go back to growing bush beans again. You seem to grow things I have never heard of or never have eaten. But that is probably because you live in SoCal, I live in Ohio. I will say I envy your over all climate especially in the winter months. I also do a lot of preserving by way of canning, dehydrating, because we cant grow year round here. I cant wait to see what you grow on your tunnel. And to have a salad farm would be awesome.

(Janet A).Your 'totes with chairs' idea is the BEST idea and compost process for all kinds of gardeners. It's brilliant. I've been a horticulturist for 45 yrs. I'm diabetic type 1 50 yrs. I use an insulin pump. I have back problems, stenosis. I need to sit many times in-between pruning or watering etc. I've frequently thought about how could I garden in a wheel chair. Omg your idea is awesome. I'm so happy I found you and Gary's channel. I love to listen to all of your ideas. Thank you so much for giving me hope and inspiring me.🎉
